Our own experience was in a motorhome helping an elderly lady move house nearly 500 miles. When we had booked a site for an overnight stay, then when on the way there we were delayed, site closed at 7pm, so some alternative had to be found. Got on a site to park but no hook up power, we were a bit stuck with a 92yr old aboard. Managed the night found out we had to plan shorter trips, hence my idea of solar panels and battery back up all on tap in the motorhome, van-life,or cabin cruiser. There is even a small solar unit with battery that can be used if staying in a tent. There are many user friendly options for holiday independence.

The elderly lady was so happy that she returned to house for furniture removal, and back here again so close on 1500miles in a motorhome at 92years. This is the very idea for you, although you can enjoy it at a much younger age.

Surprise surprise when the sun doth rise you can use its power for many of your needs. Even away from it all on a quiet hill by the forest walk. Lets go up hill Bessie says Jim the battery will be charged for cooking lunch when we return. Well did Bessie know it, Jim has it all planned out.

Park at the beach, coffee within reach, cook up a meal while Jim sleeps on the deck chair, well he did do the driving! Oh this is so eco friendly when all is on board eat what you like best also its cooked how you like it to perfection. Then no rejection from sleepy Jim. While parked beside the beach the dolphins were playing further around the bay, binoculars are a great thing to have with you while you are stopped, the sights to see make solar all the more worth having.
